| [atrb=border, 0, true][atrb=width, 350px, true][atrb=id, glossary][classy=fieldbody_n]hell is spilling over. it all started in 2012, the year everyone said the world was going to end. well, it did and it didn’t. the mayans might have been primitive but they knew their cosmology, and on the winter solstice of that year the gate separating assiah (our world) with gehenna (the demon world) flew clean open. the results were, in a word, chaotic. demons swept across the world, led by the baddest of the bad, satan. although it was a war that few could see, those that could were terrified. however, the demons didn’t get their way. exorcists rose across the land, and with the help of some “inside assistance,” they were able to seal away the biggest threats to mankind back in gehenna and quarantine those who proved to be otherwise. the world breathed a sigh of relief when the last gate was closed. humanity was saved. it didn’t come at no cost, though. exorcism officially became an aboveground business, and demons were now known to be amongst humans, cloaked in their own little communities across the land. and, of course, this peace couldn’t remain stable for long. back in gehenna, satan has begun to re-gather his forces to retake assiah, but he isn’t alone. a few rebels have popped up in the human world, lead by some of the demon kings, the primordial evils. aiming to take the land under their control and not have anything to do with the morning star, they are just as ruthless as the big bad. so, it’s a three way war that’s surfacing. exorcists versus the prince of darkness versus everything in between. stability is holding on by a thread, and it’s only a matter of time before the first big battle appears. all everyone can do now is wait, and prepare...[/classy] |
