A glass lamp with a green stems of very Elvin-like coils and stained glass patterns. On the other side of the room, there was a desk and a rather comfortable looking desk chair, which turned opposite of the door to the window outside. Against the suede textile mesh sat Charlotte herself, staring out the window at the beautiful scene of True Cross and its ever-growing structures sprawling across the horizon, and she couldn’t help but take a light sigh at the quietness in the air. She was bored, and that came with being stuck in an office all day waiting for company to arrive, she hadn’t seen a student for a while, and she wondered if Jamie was having any better luck with his students.
Earlier that morning she left a coffee on his desk, hopefully he’d get it.
Her chair rotated some and she checked her ledger and schedule for all the students who were currently here, her black work dress and short leather skirt barely covering the fleece battle-garment she usually wore beneath it, the outfit paying any and all respects to the woman’s curved body. Cleavage showing like flesh-colored hills, blonde hair in long bangs that curled at the floor beside her; her green eyes showing an immense boredom as she tapped her pen against the desk and stared to her laptop. Lately, there haven’t been a lot of students with problems. Usually that’s something Charlotte would be happy about, but it made her job a little boring… to just be sitting in here in a lonely office all day. Social interaction was something she cherished, and at the moment, she was getting very little of it.
She readjusted a picture of her and couple students on her desk, and then finally stood out of the chair with a groan as she walked around the room and fixed up some things: she pushed the small lounge chaise she bought for any of her little clients to relax on to the side a little, fixed a painting of old-Venice on the wall which was slightly crooked, straightened some of the books in the shelves that leaned against the walls of the room, and then finally started to push her desk a little to the side, just to make sure there was enough room for well, walking and all that.
“Baaaah…” she sighed as she leaned over and played with a small radio on her desk, her back to the door, leaning over rather promiscuously, though she obviously didn’t care for a moment. Her fingers twisted left and right as she tried to find a station worth listening too, mostly modern music, and what she was looking for was something a bit more- right when she thought of it, she was reaching the dreamy state that barely audible orchestrated tone was able to give her. It was better than nothing, right now she was trying to make the best of the fact that there was nothing happening around here right now. In all honesty, she better get some work soon before she goes off and does something stupid, like stapling herself to the ceiling or something, or stapling someone else to the ceiling…
Is that even possible?

In fact, she was frazzled and feeling a little embarrassed if that was at all possible. Even foolish. Though, not an ounce of any of those said emotions showed on her face. Her dark lashes blinked, the blue hue around her eyes vibrant as ever against her pale skin as she listened to her familiar rant and growl at her.
”You’re such a moron,” he hissed, the soft click clack of his claws hitting the tiled floor echoing around them while he walked. ”I told you not to jump. But you did anyway.”
Anubis was upset. That much was quite obvious to anyone. The two of them had been practicing—perfecting their abilities with one another—when Lili had overestimated a landing and landed ever so wrong, resulting in a nice stinging pain that was still plaguing her left ankle. It couldn’t be that bad, she tried to reason with herself. She could still wiggle her toes, so it wasn’t broken, but Anubis was beside himself. He demanded she went to the infirmary or he’ll bite her entire foot off to save her the trouble—not that he ever would, mind you.
So, here she was, listening to the hell hound rant like a devilish mother hen while he carried her down the halls to the infirmary upon his back. Despite the overall bristly look of his dark fur, it was surprisingly soft under her fingers.
”I’m fine, Anubis. Really. I could walk on my own.”
”You take one inch off my back, and I’ll kill you. We’re almost there, so shut up.” There was no point in arguing. Her ankle was most likely sprained, and would need time to recover, and as much as she didn’t like people fretting over her, a trip to the infirmary was the only way to appease her familiar.
And in no time, they arrived, Anubis’ large wolf shaped form prowling through the entry way to the infirmary, burdened by his meister upon his back.[/style] |

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, width:275px; padding:5px; border-left: 10px solid E6E6E6;][atrb=valign,middle][style= height:310px; overflow:auto; padding-right:7px;] Charlotte had just started considering the whole ‘staple to the ceiling’ thing when she suddenly heard voices. She stood upright, head pointing toward the door as she tried to listen; she hears something like padded steps and wondered if someone invited a giant cat to the room. Reason she thought it was a giant cat was that she has a small tabby at her home named Ki-ki. The sounds were almost similar, not for the distinct ring of claws, and the fact it was something much larger. The stoic counselor had her arms tethered in gentle lock behind as slid into the infirmary main room. Well now, she’s never seen anything like this before, here was a young woman, whose adorable makeup was making Charlotte wish she had some liner herself; being hauled by rather large hound of some for. As an exorcist, a professional even, she could tell this was a demon in canine guise, which meant the girl was most likely a tamer? Whatever it was, she seemed to be in some trouble.
“And z’eh puppy brings me gift?” she said with a giggle, not even slightly intimidated by the situation, in fact she seemed completely relaxed. Truthfully, there weren’t any doctors in here right now either (seriously was it a good idea to go on lunch breaks ALL AT ONCE…), which would make most panic, but Charlotte knew a little first aid and she was willing to help. First was ascertaining the problem. For a second she thought maybe the girl had collapsed or something, but staring at her, she was actually fully conscious of surroundings. “Oh my, v’at happened to you, dear?” she asked as she motioned to the hound to bring towards the medical table. She then extended hand so that the young girl would have help in being standing when she was ready.
Charlotte couldn’t get over how adorable this scene was. Some tamers and the bond with their summons were just too adorable. And here she had this young student being lugged by her own little summon. Her cheeks were pink from smiling so much; it really did just brighten her day a little. Finally there was some company that she could interact with a little.
