She may not be /cheerful/ per se, but she has a reassuring presence to her that’s calmed a lot of nerves before. so basically as sonja's second-in-command campbell is sort of expected to do as she says and go along with her orders - and that part's not gonna be a problem, given that he's a total doormat like that. i can see her sending him on imaginary errands just for the lols, and he'd probably keep doing them because he doesn't want to face the consequences of not doing a legitimate one.

as exasperating as he finds her i think campbell would like sonja well enough - playing tricks on him doesn't make her mean, it just makes him gullible. he'd certainly think of her as something of a friend - but idk if the feeling would be mutual. :'D [/div][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

i think sonja has tried everything and anything short of illegal things on campbell over their tenure together, but she genuinely likes the guy. yeah she knows he's an utter pushover and some of the stuff she does is probably to make him grow a spine. like sending him out to deliver her dry cleaning and stuffing it full of... lacy unmentionables. like campbell, she doesn't really show her friendship readily but both of them know it's there.

Thane has, frankly, no opinion on Sonja. They went to different exorcist schools so I don't think they would have met during student life even though they're only one year apart. There seems to be a lot of rumors circulating around Sonja but Thane doesn't care much for what other people say. There will be, though it's really small, a slight doubt from his end on Sonja's competence as the headmistress since she was allowed such rumors to spread about the school she was placed in charge of, regardless of whether the rumors are right or not. But you know, the situation should be pretty bad if the Vatican had to send three H. Knights to investigate. Still, he'll respect her enough for being a high ranking exorcist and a headmistress of an exorcist school.

I dunno if they would have done missions together since you stated she mostly did desk work... Technically Thane did some at one point as well but only in the later years at which she likely would already have been transferred to True Cross West lol.
