Well, um, and of course, people who want him dead, incapacitated or generally in a state that is less than healthy go here. He likes staying alive and well, thank you very much. Both honorary knights I think they would have crossed paths at least once. Not to mention they are both inspectors so we have all that jazz we can do. But mainly I think since they were both sent to the school as inspectors they might have this comradery since Ash doesn't really make friends all that easily xD

lol, Danielle thinks Thane is a real stick in the mud. She doesn't like seeing him strutting around the place like you own the place. Worse, she doesn't like you causing trouble for her schoolmates. True cross is a sanctuary for young people to learn, yo. Whether or not they're half-lings. Yet, at the same time, she also admires you a bit. You're a high-ranking exorcist and a tamer like her. She just wishes you're not such a lackey for the holy see. BU While she can't get back at you directly, she'll be thinking of ways to make your job on campus a living hell. heads up: soro is a lover of verbal warfare. xD but you already knew that...

yay another inspector~ and you used rokudo <3 I was thinking something along the same lines hehe but you beat me to the plot pages. Thane doesn't make friends easily either so I guess there's mutual understanding there which we could develop eventually? So I mentioned up there that Thane nearly died twice on the job. I'd LOVE it if Ash was involved in saving Thane's behind during one of them, preferably the second time. It was the one time his demon turned on him and impaled him through the chest. /hinthintdoctor lol. I imagine it'd be a pretty bad injury considering his summon's horn is no joke xD. And they could have done some past missions together? Apart from that... maybe mutual respect considering they both made it up so high in the foodchain~

Four words, dearie: Oh. Dear. You. Brat. Thane likes it here in the academy, you know? It sure beats the hell out of holing out in the sarahara desert or feeding mosquitoes in the amazon. He would indulge Danielle in verbal warfare sona's a fan too but he won't go out and take you in a fight. Since they're both from exorcist families and are british, perhaps they would know of each other? Or at least their families lol. Well, Thane would have at least heard of the Dunesworths. And he's not causing trouble BV He's just on the lookout for it. There's a difference, brat. Thane would be pretty patient with Danielle, as he is with most people.

 okay, so i'm probably about to get a million things wrong here, but at least i tried xD
so, the inspectors were sent to look into true cross west. i know that. i'm assuming, however, that they're going to be keeping quite the close eye on the half-demons that are attending the school. stella... is not going to like that. she likes her freedom. the thing is, i'm kind of expecting the inspectors' visit is going to mess with stella's head, make her wonder what the hell it's even like to be 'normal'. as a result, she'll be grumpy, and a grumpy stella is not a good one to be around, especially for the ones who caused it.
okay. for thane specifically, i imagine that stella will mark him as one of her things to mess around with. she enjoys playing with people's brains far too much, and the entrance of someone who she hopefully won't have to deal with for long? well, it's the perfect opportunity. i'm not quite sure how she's going to mess with him quite yet, that kinda involves her knowing him first, but it's going to happen. on the other hand, it's going to piss her off that she can't really rebel against him at all; she knows she can't fight any of the inspectors, she's a doctor for pete's sake, but that doesn't mean she isn't going to have her share of cutting words with them. Games of 'let's hide and see how long it takes the people watching me to find me' may also be frequent occurrences. i dunno. pardon my ranting xD

Brat? You're rather impertinent for a knight, aren't you? xD I imagine perhaps they might know each other. Papa Dunesworth might have invited Thane over for dinner or something before her academy days.
I believe that at one point when Thane first came to the academy, she would have liked him. She'd prolly felt proud to have known him. Until she found out why he came. Or if that's supposed to be classified information, he might have done something to upset her. Like accidentally burnt one of her teddies or spilled tea on them or something. As she comes to know him more (rather, the rumours about him) she feels that her faith in him has been betrayed. lol, coz soro wants to play a hateship. So you prefer the academy to the Sahara or the Amazon huh? Well, by the time Dani's done with you, you won't be able to wait for your next mission out to the middle of nowhere BU Mosquitoes are going to feel like a godsend compared to what she has in mind.
D'ww he's going to be patient with her... So, there's a difference in looking out for trouble and causing trouble, you say? Well, Dan's going to need some convincing. I vote we go for an annoying-pesterly-little-sis x ??bro type of relationship. Until Dani grows up or Thane proves himself to her, she's going to be a constant thorn in his side B]

oh yes, please hate Thane. He's very hateable xD I like this lol. In fact, the fact that Stella is not going to bother hiding the fact that she's annoyed with his presence in the school, Thane will be even more encouraged to tick her off just by standing off to the side watching Stella in her classes or w/e. He'll just smile and insist that he's just doing her job so Stella should just get on with her own agendas. Basically, he wants to see how Stella handles herself and her temper, and who she is as a person and not a demon spawn.
So I asked and apparently they should be some sort of announcement at least about the inspector's presence in the academy though the whole truth of their visit might not be revealed so her knowing him first doesn't seem to be a problem. It might take him a while to really confirm that Stella's a halfling (he likes to be absolutely sure), but even when he finds out, he'd prolly play ignorant for a while longer to observe Stella. Something along the lines of 'please-show-me-you're-worth-my-effort-to-try-to-protect'. Because unless he receives direct orders from the Holy See to exterminate halflings, he will try to find reasons to speak on their behalf. not that you're supposed to know. he's supposed to be the evil inspector, kay? Course, you shouldn't make the mistake to think that Thane's 'good' or anything. If he finalizes that Stella is a threat, forget the Vatican, then he'll come after her himself. BU

[/color] :'D they really are! i don't know if they'd have known each other well but i do think they'd have had some prior contact - given that campbell was heavily involved in dispatching and communications support, he may well have spoken with thane over the phone or radio a fair few times back during the outbreak. and given campbell's fairly unique accent, it probably wouldn't be hard to recognise him upon the inspectors' arrival to true cross. that aside i think that's perfect - campbell is very much a 'still waters run deep' sort of man and he plays things pretty close to the chest, someone that's totally onto him would be amazing :'D he'd realise, of course, but he's not dishonest and he wouldn't react badly or try to lie about anything. i think they'd actually get on very well, not just professionally but personally as well. c:[/div][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] |

it's official. stella is going to accuse thane of being a stalker xD every time he comes into her class, she'll probably glare for about five minutes before working even more furiously than she normally does, and then afterward go up to him and demand to know what his problem is. there are other half demons besides her, after all, even if she's the most... well, she's not crazy, but that's the word that works the best here so i'm gonna use it xD
a halfling advocate? oh, stella would be so very intrigued by that... you know, if she ever found out. in the meantime, i can't see her hating him forever. she may be temperamental, but she's not a hateful person. eventually, it would probably just transition from "i hate you, leave me alone, i'm just like everyone else D<" to "...you're weird and slightly creepy B|" reluctant acceptance that he enjoys bugging her, so she'll transition from temper bursts into calculated pranks. oooh, the pranks xD that'll be fun.

I think we discussed a little on how they would have originally met. Aalekh really doesn't care about many things and doesn't take insults seriously so even if you were cold to him he probably doesn't care or even remember. As a tamer I think they would know each other and Aalekhs goal might even be to reach a level comparable to his.

 okay, so this may not make much sense, but here we go~
this sort of... acceptance of demons that thane has will intrigue rowan, especially since whenever he happens to mention the same thing people just look at him funny. it's a sort of common ground, i guess? if rowan isn't automatically under suspicion because he's not afraid to be all 'is it really necessary to kill all of them?', anyways. his curiosity really gets the better of him, sometimes >.< on the other hand... rowan won't like thane. he doesn't like most people, but he especially won't like thane because his slight superiority complex won't let him. he's a higher rank, and pretty much an authority figure that's being pushed in rowan's face with the people putting him there laughing. so, he's going to want to find something to beat him at. obviously, there's close combat, so don't be surprised if rowan requests thane's assistance in training... or if he asks for the older male to explain to him about tamers. because, again, his curiosity beats out his arrogance every time, and he can only learn so much about tamers from books xD
that is... if he comes out of the library long enough to actually talk to someone -.- so, essentially, maybe rowan will look up to thane slightly? not that he'd ever admit it, of course. it'd be more of a "you're an ass B| but teach me anyways." type of thing.
