He’s also unsociable, the type who would rather stay in and grade fail papers rather than go out drinking with the rest of the professors. He’s reluctant to call anyone friend, and it is highly likely he never has called anyone such before. Still, Rowan is bound to have at least one or two friends… Or at least people that call themselves his friends. These people would either have to be incredibly persistent or the type that intrigue his overwhelming curiosity, not to mention the type that have some way to handle him slinking back to the library to get some work done. Either way, he’s not going to be easy to befriend because of his distrusting nature and issues with forming attachments to peope.[/style]
[style=color: #000000; font-size: 24px; font-family: open sans condensed; margin: -25px; text-indent: 30px; letter-spacing: -2px;]enemies[/style] [style=background-color: #efefef; font-size:10px; line-height: 12px; color: #333333; text-align: justify; padding: 10px; font-family: verdana;]The whole world. No, I’m serious, almost everyone is bound to hate Rowan at one point or another. His students likely won’t appreciate being failed consistently, and his colleagues might not like his ‘better than thou’ nature. His eidetic memory has earned him more than a few enemies, typically people who claim it’s unnatural and think he’s a demon. He also tends to have a few problems with following orders (and authority in general) because of the time he spent in the foster care system. However, a few friendly rivalries may also be likely; Rowan’s arrogance makes it hard for him to accept that he’s second in anything; it’s the whole reason the trait was born in the first place, this need for him to be best. He’ll keep trying and trying until he eventually does manage to pull ahead, even if it does take multitudes longer than he was originally planning. Oh. And then there’s the people who mistake him for a girl (it’s way more common than he would like). They will endure a thorough verbal beating the likes of which has never been seen (or tempest to the stomach. he's not above it), as will people who think to mention that he’s a bit short. [/style]
[style=color: #000000; font-size: 24px; font-family: open sans condensed; margin: -25px; text-indent: 30px; letter-spacing: -2px;]romantic dispositions[/style] [style=background-color: #efefef; font-size:10px; line-height: 12px; color: #333333; text-align: justify; padding: 10px; font-family: verdana;]Getting Rowan into a romantic relationship is even less likely than becoming his friend. He considers himself asexual, which is mostly true; attraction is not a feeling he's familiar with. To be honest, he just doesn't give it much thought. He annoys people, people annoy him, such a thing would end in disaster. That isn't to say he hasn't tried anything; he's attempted things once or twice just to see what the ruckus is about it. Needless to say, they ended in heartbreak for the other person and even more confusion for Rowan. People are welcome to try courting him, but he's likely to just get more annoyed with it than he does normal social interactions. Maybe eventually he'll be persuaded to try and understand the concept of love, instead of just the definition, but certainly not of his own volition.[/style]
[style=color: #000000; font-size: 24px; font-family: open sans condensed; margin: -25px; text-indent: 30px; letter-spacing: -2px;]other[/style] [style=background-color: #efefef; font-size:10px; line-height: 12px; color: #333333; text-align: justify; padding: 10px; font-family: verdana;]Okay, so I know this whole thing is terrible, but I really don’t know what to put, guys. All I can suggest is trying to get to know Rowan better, even though he really does not make that easy. As for others… Maybe someone who was stuck in the foster care system with him? That was a while ago, but they certainly existed. I’d offer him up for mentoring, but unless you want your head to be filled with endless useless facts and your ego to take a beating, I wouldn’t suggest it. And an important thing to remember… He doesn’t hate demons. Seriously. He may have been attacked by one, but people have attacked him too, so he really can’t find any reason to hate them more than any human.[/style] |

TEDDY&ROWAN;; OHHH SO PRETTY THIS IS TEDDY'S NEW FAVORITE SUBJECT OKAY CB
Sososo Teddy would be super persistant in making him sit for a drawing. She doesn't look for friends persay, but rather lets them in if she feels like they're the right type of person, so she'd be perfectly fine with letting him become friends with her for some reason lolol. She'd combat his arrogant personality nicely and since he's so damn pretty in her eyes she'll end up popping up all over trying to draw him. Thoughts? C:

[style=font-size:10px;text-align:justify;]( EVA & ROWAN )
[/color] HEY NOIRE ARE YOU SICK OF ME YET okay so eva is really good at one of his subjects and really bad at the other - she's pretty amazing as far as physics goes, and she can literally just look at ballistic motion problems and know the answer, but when it comes to actually being mobile in combat? hopeless. i think she'd probably just be like 'aaah prof foley i'm gonna dop this class help me please' and get really really wound up because she's never failed something in school ever so if he can tolerate her i think she'd maybe try and persuade him to give her extra help? her ego is basically bulletproof so she'd easily withstand his prickliness, and if all else fails she will just relentlessly beg him for extra credit assignments[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

I would not suggest calling him pretty to his face, it would end very badly. And popping up everywhere insisting to draw him? He'd probably end up referring to her as his stalker. Now, I love this idea; Teddy is the perfect kind of person to test his patience. Every time she shows up, he'd probably just shove her out the door and lock it. He'd eventually start going to even more reclusive places in an effort to avoid her, and if that doesn't work... Well, there's always pepper spray, since he's not allowed to pull his weapons on a civilian xD[/style] |

( ROWAN & DREW, )
[/color] omg yes i think we did decide on that. this is so great. ;'D they will terrify people with how much this relationship should not make any sense. in all actuality they could probably not hate each other (or at least drew wouldn't hate him). she would just have a really hard time admitting to herself and other the fact that she actually liked him. "he's such an ass... well you know he's okay. meh. why are you asking me this go away." but exterior is totally that "rawr you suck. i'm the best" thing. ahaha. pahahaah. BWAHAHAA. yes she would love to do that to him. her glee would be unimaginable. though i can't see her owning a lacy red dress or a tiara. so she probably bought them just for this occasion. like he'd say "gdi drew i can't hid my wheels in my pants" and then she'd be like "oh hey i have some stuff. come by my place later and i will help you get ready. also wut size do you wear boy?" and then go like BUY IT ALL. just for him. JUST TO MAKE HIM WEAR IT. and a few bruises from getting hit by thrown stuff (unless it's pillows) would be totally worth it. and she would probably take pictures for posterity actually. omg i think she would frame them and put them on her desk, facing outwards so everyone could see. he might just about murder her for that though... omg could she drop him off at the club? or would he drive there himself? :'D cause otherwise. she'd totally drive him there and yell at him as she drives away "have a good time sweetie" or some other such sillies/ i was going to respond to your catacombs thread ;'D when you had footsteps. but then you changed it before i could post. so um. we need a proper thread. but not with the focus on killing things. She just can't stand teachers who flaunt their superiority. Sure, she's a novice and she knows that. But hey, you were likely a novice at her age too. Meh, lighten up dude and learn to speak nice. Maybe she'll consider listening to you one day. Until then, expect verbal flaying every so often xD[/style]

( CAMPBELL & ROWAN )
[/color] omg though noire that's beautiful :'D i think a lot of people are probably confused as to how campbell has survived four weeks let alone four years in the job, and he's not given his secret away yet yeah, i don't think enemies is right - more well-acquainted colleagues, i think. brutally honest though poor campbell :'D he'd keep it to himself if rowan's words really offended him, but like i said, i can see academic meetings in campbell's office, rowan leaves and then campbell just starts sobbing into his hands motivational is somewhat accurate though! rowan obviously knows what he's talking about, and i think campbell would want to prove himself at least a little more. of course most of the teachers don't get to see past his rather pathetic side to the guy who managed to coordinate eight teams from hundreds of miles away during the end of the world, and it's up to you whether rowan ever does. c:[/div][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

( MATT & ROWAN )
[/color] and i love rowan so it's no imposition :'D seriously noire for all the plotting we do we have to do more actual threading you know ANYWAY yes two extremely intelligent but not very nice men in the same room i don't think you have to be a genius to realise how that's going to go :'D matt's the sort of person who would really appreciate having someone like rowan around - you know, someone who's not an idiot - but that appreciation wouldn't stop him from being a jackass. can't be tamed man but the intellectual stimulation thing is something matt struggles with too - mental images of breathless scientific debates in broom closets aside, i think that's something they might centre their interactions around. after, all, if it's pure and objective and fact there's no reason to take it personally. healthy conflict for all! the mentorship i'm not so sure about - matt was a field exorcist up to about six years ago, which is right after rowan would have finished his training iirc? they may well have had contact around then, given that that would have been before the other true cross academies were built and the entire approach was probably a bit looser. but the thing is, matt's attitude towards students is kinda 'do what i tell you', but that's his attitude towards everyone - he tends to actually treat students as the pretty-much-adults that they are. idk, i would have thought rowan would maybe appreciate that sort of viewpoint. :'D[/div][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

[/color] :'D sort of indeed! they're the sort of people who don't need to be civil to each other - manners just cost valuable time and energy, right? they're big boys they're not going to be offended by the little things they probably won't be friends as such, but they probably won't have the 'ugh stupid people' reaction and that is as good as i think also we should thread them somehow idk[/div][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

( HOEN & ROWAN )
[/color] besides having awesomely rhyming names, they should be best friends. While Hoen is a few years Rowan's junior maybe they kicked it off with a short joke, or Hoen asking if he was lost? They have balancing personalities, and I honestly believe they could get on well with each other. We talked about it, but they should have become friends through Hoen saving his life--maybe have it be classy? A last bullet in the chamber kind of moment?[/div][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

(ROWAN & JAMIE)
WEEEEEEEEEELL I'M FLATTERED NOIRE!!!!! ;D sorry it took too long to come around to this but ahahaha jamie would really like rowan man! shame it ain't mutual but that is where the fun is b/c, really, it wouldn't be rowan if that was mutual )8
at any rate holy shit rowan has a truckload of problems man :'D lol the idea of txw being like "FIX YR SHIT" to rowan if his bad personal attitude became a problem (not that the organisation's not full of those bad attitudes already) but his past would definitely flare up as needing, well, to be discussed - and especially that breakdown o m g. at any rate counselling for rowan seems a very likely action for the school to take - while jamie's role at the school is certainly more concerned w/ students (and outside it's more concerned w/ non-exorcists (': ) i don't see it being too ridic that he would end up counselling a, um, fellow faculty member if the need arose
that being said jamie would probably defer rowan to another professional after a bit b/c serious this boy needs psychiatric help at this rate omg )8 i definitely love the idea of some sessions between them on the basis that rowan's stagnant silence must be something! i love how it reflects his feelings tho ;A; rowan thinking he's the only one that can save himself but alas that's not going to cut it in these therapy sessions :'D and jamie wouldn't like it either on the basis that…
well he cant sit still for an hour of silence omg it'd be a massive waste of time for him
but omg if rowan was really resistant, and if he skipped, jamie wouldn't hesitate notifying txc of rowan's non-committal and problematic attitude towards the therapy 8'D and the consequences of that wouldn't be that good i'm sure. ofc, this would be something rowan might be irritated about b/c jamie would probably not give much stern warning - the blonde's can be pretty passive about that sort of thing and i can gather given rowan's resistance he wouldn't think too much of any warnings from the other anyway. but yeah, i can understand rowan's hate for psychoanalysis but from what you've presented my psychologist here seems to be the one w/ that power in this relationship at least in regards to jamie can basically fail him in terms of mental health jeez 8'D
