okay admittedly dick isn't good with long-term friendship; the whole concept still feels new to him, he's never stayed anywhere so long! sp while he's a really, really jovial person he's also hard to deal w/ b/c of his competition hard-on! he's the sort of person who's really conversational and doesn't mind if exchanges are entirely one-sided but beyond that his lack of tact and zealous nature is disastrous, and i think a character would either have to be really laid-back or ridiculously competitive to deal with him. i mean, rivalries are as good as anything to him? they might be major one-sided, he might half invent them. tbqh a character might not even consider him a friend but he might given he's not really good at recognising "no rich you are actually a massive loser go away" unless it's spelt out to him and even then he'd just take it as some ridiculous challenge of some kind whoops

this might be easier to plot for a lot people - after all, i see him having had friends but sort of screwed it over. screwed over in anyway; from a mission gone bad and him being a dick about it or the fact he can't accept not winning a game at fifa and never talking to a person again )'8 i have described him like that kid at that party who takes pass-the-parcel WAY TOO FUCKING SERIOUSLY. also yea the whole LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIPS ARE HARD SNUFFS HOW TRAGIC ETC b/c he is not good at handling them, ehehehe. rivalries he'd enjoy anyway, he gets a kick out of that sorta thing, so kinda hating him is pretty okay by him! but otherwise he is a dick and yea basically i can see why one would hate rich? teachers might not be fond of him either; i can him being a somewhat disruptive student at points as well! and prolyyy a bully but maybe not too intentionally. unless they hate cricket or something then dick'll hate em :B

they'd be a great team though i agree - the differng ranges and their similar sort of training would make for amazing combat synergy, and they probably wouldn't even need to communicate too much on missions - they'd just know. but yeah lol if richard didn't do what he was told eva would just smack him haha

and yeah, those were my words. :'D he goes against basically everything she stands for, minus the crazy obsession with being number one and doing a good job. but he does it the wrong way, so she might not even approve of that. orz. she's really difficult. i'm sorry. but yeah his loud exuberant disposition. is like a mole looking at the sun. it really pains her. though her more likely reaction would be a headache or something. nothing major.

so the mission. :'D what if he's like as you said "STAND BACK I GOT THIS" for her. when it's like she's trying to get shit done. in the mission. and she's the prof. idk yeah.

YES OMG TRUST TRAINING PLS PLS PLS. idk maybe they have some random touchy feely lady come in to teach them how to solve differences and be like better people with each other. i've noticed a lot of the teachers are quite um not very easy to deal with. so that would be part of it and that's probably why it's... like get to know your teachers better. but only a few students like were idk out of their mind enough to take the mission. cause who on earth would want to hang out with like drew. she is a menace.

i think instead of like... a "you need to kill the boss" type mission. its like in the manga or the anime when they have to bring back that stupid lantern. oh oh. maybe we can get another professor and student to join in on this. like same thread, but not always talking to each other sorta deal? so that way we can like make it seem that there are bunches of people doing this. or maybe we can just have it them two.

Competitive pals?

So like I was saying in the box, these two probably met up while she was still in school. Maybe at the shooting range while she was practicing and she started trying to shoot better than him, and all of sudden they were competing. She is kind of a sore loser as well so I could see her trying to compete with him a lot if he beat her. Plus she is more laid back than him, and she doesn't talk a lot but she could deal with his jabbering. So like yeah thats what I got xD

Mal wouldn't be too troubled over the year divide either since she knows she got a bit of a head start on some of the others since she was raised on this stuff. I could also see him helping her get used to shot guns, since that will be the next weapon I get her xD.
