[classy=fleur][classy=image]  [/classy][classy=cell1] PROLOGUE, pascal stavritis. exorcist, first year, aria. a bit of a judgmental twit, to be honest: his zealotry against demonkind is probably gonna get someone killed someday. until then, he’s just a shy, kinda awkward kid who (like a cornered rat) will lash out if backed into a corner.[/classy][classy=cell2] FRIENDS, pascal likes people. doesn’t mean he’s necessarily the best at them – he’s uncomfortable with meeting new people and can be quick to judge. however, he’s most likely to warm up to those who’ve come from similar backgrounds as his. maybe someone who got stuck on a team with him for a mission? i don’t know. honestly anything could work.[/classy][classy=cell3] ENEMIES, except demons. yeah. pascal’s staunchly religious exorcist father drilled it into him that all demons are bad, and it’s an idea that probably isn’t going to wedge loose anytime soon. you’d best not tell pascal that you’re a halfling, or his opinion of you will plummet without a second thought. it’s hard to dislodge these kinds of prejudices. as for regular humans, just don’t piss him off. [/font][/size] both pascal and emil are firsties and they're both aria, so they automatically have a lot in common. emil is pretty laid back and he obviously isn't okay with telling people he's a halfling. i'm not sure how emil will respond to pascal's judgement towards demons, but then again, would it ever show up in a conversation? idk i just like the fact that they're both first year arias, because reciting verses from the bible is pretty cool yo

finley & SO OKAY Fin here would totally be one of Pascal's friends because that's just how she is. He doesn't need to worry about being awkward or uncomfortable with her because she's going to pretty much do all the talking and socializing for him. If he doesn't know what to say, Fin will. Whether or not he returns the feelings is up to you. Unlike Pascal though, Fin is definitely not prejudiced and doesn't hate demons very much mostly because she still doesn't 100% understand them and she sees them as still being people with feelings and personalities that can be hurt. So they would probably buttheads over that and it's one of those things they'd probably have to avoid talking about or else the entire conversation just goes sour. |

[/font][/size] this one could really go either way. the whole fact that emil’s a demon would be a big powder keg bolted to the side of their relationship, because pascal was raised by a very conservative exorcism family. the whole idea of demons + humans just kinda squicks him out to no end. however, if the secret somehow manages to stay submerged, i could see them being at least cordial to each other, although neither of them wanting to make the first big move in their friendship may make things difficult.

[/font][/size] oh gods. i can see the two of them clicking almost immediately. she’s the kind of bubbly kid that pascal needs to balance out his sometimes-bitterness, and i imagine she’d end up coercing him into doing something stupid he wouldn’t like at the time but would end up in the end enjoying it. (like. dropping paint balloons on people. iunno. something ridiculous.)

as much as i'd like to say pascal and stella could be friends, if i did i'd be lying. he is a demon hater, and stella is damn proud of being a half-demon. as a result, the moment they started interacting, they'd probably hate each other. she'd take no mercy on him for being younger, claiming that's no excuse for being ignorant, and instead would probably start being maybe particularly cruel toward him. she may not care what is thought of her, but that doesn't mean she's about to stand by while pascal insults demons as a whole; not all of them are bad to her. he'd probably be met with cold words whenever he runs into her, and he'd learn very quickly to be wary around trees. maybe eventually they'd come to a truce, but in the meantime, watch out for her >.>
on the other hand (yes, i'm giving you options B|), stella could take the opportunity to mess with pascal's head. it's in his head that all demons are evil, so she would take it upon herself to be extremely nice. just to confuse him. occasionally, her temper may get the best of her, but essentially, she'd be the epitome of an angel. either one sounds like something she'd do... so i shall give you the choice xD /shot

anyways. i think the latter option would be more beneficial development-wise for pascal, as a demon acting /nice/ to him would really fry his circuitry. plus it's fun playing woobie characters. he could probably get all mad at stella for flaunting her heritage and somehow the table gets turned? or the table just keeps spinning as the two trade insults. whatever. they certainly aren't going to like one another, that's for sure.

it isn't that stella flaunts her heritage per-say, although she probably would to piss someone off. she just isn't particularly careful about hiding it... so you're right. she'd flaunt it around pascal just to bother him, but she would never do anything to harm him directly, just so if anything happens, she can't be directly blamed xD although... she'd probably be blamed anyways. forgive me, my brain hurts at the moment xD

So Mikhail is a year older than Pascal but I dunno maybe they could be friends? That is if Pascal doesn't mind Mikhail being a wimp and all. Mik would find it cool that Pascal can be an aria because he is really bad at memorizing stuff, and since they are both at the awkward boy stage maybe feel a connection with him or something xD

i'm not sure the two would be /friends/ exactly, considering there's a year gap and neither of them would seem like they'd seek out the other. however, if the two of them were thrown into the same boat i could see pascal looking favorably upon him. i mean, pascal wouldn't care that mikhail's a wimp. he himself is all bark and no bite. |3

So they've definitely got some stuff in common and I think they'll be pretty good friends. Though in different ways, they're both pretty awkward around people. I guess it's sort of like, Pru goes too far and Pascal doesn't go far enough. Or something. 8'D They both have some prejudice against demons, but even Pru'd probably be a bit uncomfortable with Pascal's zealotry, especially toward halfling students -- she tends to think they're fine, since they're not doing anything wrong. She might have to occasionally and reluctantly be like "wh-whoa take it easy hehehe." because awk. But overall I think they'll get along, even though Pru'll totally push and drag Pascal around when he's thinking of copping out, because she is totally gung-ho. SO YEAH.

yeahhh. pascal would get really riled up if he saw a halfling hanging around and just... not trying to be human (:'D) so he might not appreciate pru trying to rope him back a bit. but it'd be fun to let him develop and let him realize that /maybe/ he's not the only voice of reason.
in short, yeah. i don't think it'd work for a thread by itself but maybe if they meet up somehow pascal could flip his lid or something? :'D? |
