She is, understandably, deathly afraid of fire, and she gets sluggish and irritable in the heat and the cold. Her temper is just as fiery as her number one fear, but overall, she’s just an interesting person to be around, if not a bit of a terror. Those that can get over that little bit of Stella are in for one of the most loyal friends of their lives. She may consistently tease and fight with anyone close to her, but after a while, it’s easy to see that’s her rather roundabout way of being affectionate. So, I guess what I’m asking for is maybe a handful of really close friends, a whole plethora of acquaintances, and probably just one attached-at-the-hip friend with whom she can share anything and drag into trouble with her. Surprisingly, she’s terrific at listening to other people’s problems and providing some advice… Although said advice may not be helpful, exactly. This partner in crime is the only one I’ll be picky about, otherwise feel free to suggest anything. The problem with Stella’s personality is that the majority of people don’t understand it. Whether you’re someone she flirted with and ditched alone, or an unfortunate soul who got on the wrong side of her temper, the gist of it all is the almost anything you can come up with in this category is highly probable. There are bound to be people who are rubbed the wrong way by the fact that she is a half-demon, which would only frustrate her in return. She may not care, but that doesn’t mean they won’t earn her fury directed toward them. Also expected are intellectual rivals; Stella is wicked smart, devouring books and information like they’re made of air. She’s one of the top of her class, and if anybody is willing to challenge that, she’s willing to let them try. Just don’t expect it to be easy. Another thing that will get her blacklisted for a lot of people is her rebellious nature; she absolutely refuses to listen to orders or instructions, insisting that she has a brain and she’s perfectly capable of using it, thankyouverymuch. Although she is definitely heterosexual, Stella will flirt with just about anyone in an effort to draw a reaction, yet in the end she will often just escape whenever she feels things are getting too serious. It would take a hell of a lot of persistence to keep her tied down, and though you’re perfectly welcome to try, seriously don’t expect anything out of it. She enjoys the chase far too much to give it up; there’s a reason she hasn’t even settled down long enough for a one night stand very often. Friends with benefits would be an option if she wouldn’t get so bored with it so quickly. In short, feel free to have feelings (or lust) for her, but don’t expect it to be reciprocated, although she may lead you on for a while. So like, I'm preeeeetttyyyy sure we had these two plot together before. I distinctly remember something involving Chris getting led along by her over and over only to get his heart broken repeatedly, along with possible shankings due to the fact that he has a dryad imprisoned inside his gun. And they were academic rivals since Chris is somehow still in the top percentile for the school without being in class ever.

Not sure if you wanted to keep that and roll with the idea, or just scrap it altogether and start over maybe?

i suggest friends between these two. i know, weird, huh? 'cause jagger doesn't want or see the point in friends. but i actually think that it could work.

they're both halflings, same age and academic year. and they're both liars. jagger feels no shame in his insincerity and, for all his flaws hypocrisy isn't one of them, wouldn't shame stella for the same thing. it could be just a regular scene in their friendship. both twisting tales to outdo each other or to see who stumbles over their lie first. though if stella was close to jagger she would know that his nostrils seem to flare every time he tells a lie, so he'd never win at their game.

stella seems really confident and assured in getting what she wants. so i don't think that jagger could blow her off like he does with everyone else. and know he just accepts stella's companionship, putting on an act that her presence annoys him. plus any unpleasant things that he might say i'm sure stella could give back as good as she got, and jagger needs that he gets away with being a jerk far too often. he also needs somebody to heal his scrapes every time that he does something reckless too.

okay so we spoke a little about it but AS PIDGE SAID i am fond of the idea that eva met stella before she knew about the whole half-dryad thing and took a shine to her! eva likes clever people (almost as much as she likes proving she's cleverer) and the ~intellectual stimulation~ angle is something i think eva would be big on :D

stella's compulsion wouldn't particularly faze eva - she's got a talent for knowing when people are trying to deceive her, but she really doesn't care about it. what's important to eva isn't what you actually think, but more what you do, and as long as it doesn't put her in danger she's totally okay with it.

what i do wanna suggest is if stella is friendly with both eva and dick she gets dragged into their squabbles as something of a go-between - yes these intensively-trained exorcists are being childish and refusing to talk to one another whatever - and i think stella would probably find their behaviour towards each other pretty amusing :'D of course when they are talking they'd probably just drag her into other things because i am pretty sure that is how they roll[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Halfling plot time. Let's see. These two are rather different, but they gotta be some sort of friends. Perhaps a rocky start or such. Arden being a water-based halfling and Stella being a nature-based halfling, there's gotta be some sort of friendship. Arden would probably ask for some help since she is not the brightest when it comes to studies, so mentor is a good thing. Only one year behind so it wouldn't be a problem. But I'm sure they'll be a good team in the battlefield since Arden loves putting out fires, so perhaps she has friendship beyond loyalty and be a bit protective. Halflings gotta stick together after all.

omg this is my reply to another classy plot I LOVE YOU NOIRE 8) but as for resistant stella once again this is all the more fun!

i think it's unlikely that jamie wouldn't be aware of her behaviour in their sessions though. given that he'd be getting feedback from her teachers - his work involves her academic life as well obviously - he'd probably be focused on her disruptive side and, well, the lying definitely oh dear. and really resistant ppl aren't new to him omg you've saddled jamie w/ rowan already stella's just FUN about it! and by fun i mean jamie would probably be pretty fond of stella in return? she's really bright, after all, and from what i've read she finds ppl interesting even if in a pretty dismissive, clinical way?

that's why through most of the sessions jamie's going to be looking on so disappointed at all of stella's behaviour. man, he probably won't say much against it at this point but, really, all the disappointment from him. all of it. it's just that he's so passive but it'd probably end up a little obvious he's not taking the bait - and omg no definitely not flirty stella, wow :'D
