you squint as you step into the small wooden storefront. it’s dim in here, with the thick smell of pipe smoke and incense giving a cloying atmosphere. shelves line the walls, filled to bursting with things you’ve never seen before except in fantasy. you see no proprietor, but from the back comes a faint raspy voice. “you’ve come in here with purpose, dear. i like that. so, what is it you want to buy?”
